VMWaretube: Keynote web casts

VMWare is going to be webcasting the Keynote presentations for VMWorld 2006 from Los Angeles. You can register in advance.

Of particular interest for me is the Virtual Appliances panel on Tuesday.

Panel - Virtual Appliances: A New Paradigm for Enterprise Software Development, Deployment and Management

Virtual appliances are all the rage. Senior executives from leading ISVs will discuss why and how virtual appliances are starting a revolution in the enterprise software development, distribution and deployment paradigm.

Moderator: Srinivas Krishnamurti, Director, Product Management and Business Development, VMware Inc.
Panelists: Satish Dharmaraj, Co-Founder & CEO, Zimbra; Pat Kerpan, CTO, Cohesive FT; and Damien Reeves, CTO, Zeus

The second part of the Tuesday keynote will be an industry panel that should also be interesting.

Panel - An Industry Perspective

Moderator: Lee Gomes, Wall Street Journal

Panelists: Marc Andreessen, Chairman & Co-Founder, Opsware Inc.; Andy Bechtolsheim, SVP & Chief Architect, Network Systems, Sun Microsystems Inc.; David Cheriton, Professor, Computer Science & Electrical Engineering, Stanford University; and Diane Greene, President & Co-Founder, VMware Inc.
