rPath working with Newbury Networks to build software appliances

rPath has announced that they are working with Newbury Networks to use rBuilder to create software appliances for Newbury’s Wi-Fi tracking systems.

“Once we selected Linux for the appliance, we realized the need to maintain the operating system in addition to providing administrative tools and software updates for our customers and partners,” said Michael Maggio, president and CEO of Newbury Networks, Inc. “We were confident rBuilder along with the rPath Appliance Agent™ (rAA™) could accomplish this, while also supporting branded versions of the builds for our OEM partners.”
